Teign Corinthian Yacht Club has a very popular dinghy sailing operation at Coombe Cellars on the River Teign estuary, with a large dinghy park to store boats. We have an enthusiastic Solo fleet comprising over twenty Solos. The handicap fleet contain a variety of single hander and two-hander dinghies - as well as the ubiquitous Lasers and Toppers, regular attendees include Finns, Supernovas, K1s, as well as Enterprises. For our active Junior section there are also Qubas and Teras.

The Coombe Cellars site is also the base of our Paddle section and is also a registered RYA Training Centre. The sheltered nature of the site enables us to offer all year round dinghy racing and the Race Programme can be found on the TCYC Dinghy Calendar.

The club also owns a number of dinghies, SUPs and canoes that are free for members to use.

The Cruisers and Keelboat section of TCYC operates from Teignmouth Harbour. The club has an active cruiser race group that hold races every Wednesday evening and some weekends during the summer months - check the TCYC Calendar for upcoming Keelboat races.

The club owns 2 Cork 1720's that are available to give you an introduction to sailing or as to become a regular crew member. These boats take part in the Wenesday racing click here for further details. On Thursdays are sailed under the "this girl can" banner click here for further details.

There is also a very popular cruising group who have a good mix of nearby and distant cruises.
