2025 Dinghy Autumn Regatta
Although a dire weather forecast caused the early abandonment of the second day of racing at Coombe Cellars for the Autumn Dinghy Regatta 16 sailors turned up bright and early on Saturday September 13th with helms ranging in age from 12 to mid 70's. Arial photos of our Coombe Cellars site, perhaps 1980s ?
We have been sent copies of a couple of arial photographs of our Coombe Cellars site taken perhaps 40 years ago. As can be seen, the original clubhouse had been built but the levelling of the site was clearly still a work in progress. Also notable is how few tress there are compared to today. Manduvi takes part in Cross channel Regatta
Richard Bryant's boat Manduvi, a Saxon 34 Wooden built 1963 took, part in a Regatta with the Yacht Club Classique in Dartmouth Brest and Camaret last week. Excellent 4 days of sailing in the sheltered waters of Start Bay and the Rade de Brest with associated french provided hospitality. Ship in the Bottle Regatta Overall - 2025
The early May Bank Holiday weekend saw TCYC hosting the Ship in the Bottle Regatta at Coombe Cellars under clear blue skies with a variety of wind conditions.
