How to Join
Welcome to TCYC.
TCYC welcomes applications from people who are interested in taking part in our sailing, water sports and social activities.
No previous sailing experience is necessary as we run an extensive set of training courses and have clubboats available for you to use.
Boat Berths at Coombe Cellars
If you would like to keep a dinghy or kayak at our Coombe Cellars boat park please check that space is available before proceeding with your application. Please note that berths are provided at TCYC Coombe Cellars for members who actively sail at Coombe Cellars. We do not operate a boat storage facility for boats used elsewhere.
The current situation is;
Kayaks stored on racks - spaces available
Sailing Dinghies berths - small number of spaces available.
Rowing boat berths - wait list.
Dayboat berths - wait list
Cruiser berths - none available

Winter Membership October 2025 - March 2026
TCYC runs dinghy racing all year round and we offer a special rate for members of other sailing clubs that do not race in the Winter. The fixed fee is £75 and this includes six months membership and a Winter dinghy berth at Coombe Cellars. Please note that this offer is only open to people who are full members of another sailing club.
