April Fool's Day Sailing Celebration

So last year your Commodore had the privilege of being crowned TCYC's first ever April Fool when winning this coveted sailing award at Coombe Cellars. Lets hope that come April 1st this year some other fool will come along and steal it away. Our Chief Jester, James Stevenson, has dreamt up an even better challenge for our dinghy sailors this year. There's absolutely no need to be a top flight dinghy racer, in fact probably better if you're not. James has a cunning plan to make this a truly family fun event chasing around the river marks for clues that will have you guessing right up to the end. It definitely will not be the first to complete the challenge that wins - more likely the person or group who don't get their brains fried trying to work out the clues and get the most answers back to our Chief Jester.
So do come along on Bank Holiday, Easter Monday - April 1st for a 10am start and make a fool of yourself. Jester outfits encouraged but not mandatory. For those not on the water we are looking for some 'spotters' to help James make sure everyone plays by the Jester's Rules! If the weather plays ball and we have warm and dry Easter we will break out the gas fired barbeque so you can bring along your own food and have a lunchtime BBQ.
