Dinghies at TCYC

TCYC has a specialised dinghy sailing operation at Coombe Cellars on the River Teign estuary. The site is also the base of our Paddle section and is also a registered RYA Training Centre.

We have recently built a brand new clubhouse on the site. There are changing rooms and a training room on the ground floor with a clubroom and kitchen on the first floor together with a roof terrace with wonderful views of the Teign estuary.

The is also an on-site boat park for members with spaces for dinghies, small daybooks and trailer/sailors. We also have racks available for kayaks and SUP boards. We will always endeavour to find a space for a boat but there may be waiting lists from time to time.

The sheltered nature of the site enables us to offer all year round dinghy racing. The site an RYA Training Centre and is used for training by local schools and youth groups. We also offer a variety of courses to both members and none-members.

A list of dinghy sailing events will be listed in date order complete with starting times. If you click a specific event then the tide details are also displayed and if you are logged in then the duty status is shown as well.
