Fabulous Autumn Dinghy Regatta
Teign Corinthian YC's much awaited autumn regatta for dinghies finally got going on Saturday October 1st. Middle of previous week it was looking very doubtful if things would go ahead with forecasts of 40 knot winds and much rain being predicted. In the event Saturday saw a westerly topping out at 25 knots and Sunday a north easterly of no more than 10 knots - and all in blue sky and sunshine. Perfect.

The new 2022 Management Committee
Following our AGM last night the new Management Committee pictured above was elected to serve the club for the next 12 months.. Mike Commander (front row - centre) is the new Commodore on the club following the retirement of Reg Nuttall after many years of service to the club. Helping the Ukrainian Humanitarian effort
We have been all been shocked by the scenes from Eastern Europe over recent days. Following discussions with members who have had direct involvement with past humanitarian efforts we have updated our website and Facebook pages with links to the Disaster Emergency Committee website to enable members to donate directly to the DEC if they so wish. Storm Eunice
Thankfully Storm Eunice passed over our sites without leaving too big a trail of damage. A sizeable tree in Hearn Fields was blown over which is a shame as it was a very popular tree for children to climb. New signs at Coombe Cellars
Dear all, We have tried to make it as clear as possible that there should be no cars driving on the grass boat lane. Vehicles have historically created rutting on the grass which has caused a trip hazard to members pulling their dinghies.
