The Clubhouse
Our brand new clubhouse gives club members a modern up-to-date set of facilities the provide a range of facilities for members to use.
Changing Rooms and toilets
If you have been sailing or paddling please wash your boots in the boot wash outside the front door before coming into the building.
There are separate changing rooms for male, female and instructors. Showers are provided in both male and female changing rooms. Members can switch on the heating and hot water themselves using the timer controls
Press the bottom right hand corner of the appropriate control. Each press advances the time through 30, 60 and 120 minutes and cycles round to zero. Please only switch on those controls that you need in oder to save electricity.
All lights and fans in the changing rooms and toilets are operated by PIR sensors and will automatically switch off a few minutes after the last person has left the room.
Please tidy up the rooms after using them.
Our Eastcliff Club house is located on the sea front in the heart of Teignmouth with glorious views across Lyme Bay. All members of TCYC, regardless of how they enjoy their sailing, are members of both locations and are free to use facilities equally.
The Club house has a well stocked bar, refreshments and comfortable seating; although the facilities are not open every day. Details of the Cruiser Sailing, other events, meals and social activities can be found on the website and through the Vice-Commodore's weekly email.
In the winter months there is normally something going on two or three times a week, especially on Wednesday, Thursday and Friday. In the summer months, there is cruiser racing out in the bay on Wednesday to add to the interest.
Access to the clubhouse is possible during events and members may buy an electronic key fob for £5.00 and allows access at any time. You can then take things easy, enjoy a coffee from the machine and just soak up the view.
