The final races of the Handicap and Solo Class Saturday and Sunday Series were sailed last weekend.

Although there were 26 scheduled races with 14 results to count in each series, in the Solo Class the eventual winners of both the Saturday and Sunday trophies were only decided on the very last races of the day!

Two wins saw James Stevenson pip Peter Hearne by less than half a point to take the Saturday Series with John Davey third overall.

On the Sunday, Andy Collyer’s two race wins meant top spot for him, just 1 point ahead of John Davey, with Graham Tapper in third.

In the Handicap Class the clear winner of the Saturday Series was Buzz Burrows (Finn) ahead of Benjamin Flower (Topper/Laser) and Mike Commander (Laser)

Benjamin Flower went one better in the Handicap Sunday Series taking first place overall with Rob Upton (Laser) second. Third place went to Tim Flower who sailed a variety of boats with a variety of crews!
